It all began with one simple question:
What if waste could become a source of hope?

Across India, valuable biomass and organic waste were being burned or discarded while farmers struggled with declining soil health and the growing demand for clean energy. We believed there had to be a better way.

That belief became BioSanjeevani. With innovation, scientific research, and support from AIC IIT Delhi and SIIC IIT Kanpur, we are transforming biomass into clean Bio-CNG (CBG) and premium-quality organic fertilizers—creating a future where waste powers energy, restores soil, and strengthens rural communities.

Our biogas plants are the heart of Biosanjeevani's circular bioeconomy. We process cattle dung, crop residues, food waste, and agro-industrial waste through anaerobic digestion — simultaneously generating biogas for clean cooking/power and producing nutrient-rich slurry for our Jeevani fertilizer range.

Every kilogram of biomass that enters our plant leaves as either clean energy or premium organic fertilizer. Nothing is wasted. Everything is valued.

Biomass Feedstock

We accept cattle dung from gaushalas, crop waste from farms, food waste from institutions, and agro-industrial residues — creating a reliable, low-cost feedstock network.

Anaerobic Digestion

Biomass undergoes controlled anaerobic digestion in our sealed digesters, breaking down organic matter over 20–30 days to produce methane-rich biogas and nutrient-dense slurry.

Biogas Purification

Raw biogas is cleaned, compressed, and upgraded to CBG (Compressed BioGas) standards — a clean, renewable alternative to LPG and CNG for cooking and vehicles.

The fermented slurry is separated into solid and liquid fractions, enriched with natural phosphate rock, and processed into our flagship PROM and Liquid Organic Fertilizer products.

Plant Operations

From Waste to Value — Step by Step

Input

Biomass Intake & Weighing

Raw organic material arrives from partner gaushalas, farms, and institutions. Each batch is weighed, logged, and inspected for quality before entering the digester.

Process

Slurry Mixing & Pre-treatment

Biomass is mixed with water to achieve optimal Total Solids (TS) concentration. Large debris is removed; the slurry is pre-warmed for faster microbial activity.

Digestion

Anaerobic Fermentation

The slurry enters sealed anaerobic digesters where methanogenic bacteria break down organic matter, generating biogas and fully-digested, stabilised slurry output.

Energy

Biogas Collection & Upgradation

Biogas (50–60% methane) is collected, scrubbed of H₂S and CO₂, compressed into CBG cylinders, and dispatched for clean energy use — replacing fossil fuels.

Fertilizer

Slurry Separation & Enrichment

Digestate is pressed into solid and liquid fractions. The solid fraction is blended with rock phosphate to create PROM; liquid fraction is bottled as Liquid Organic Fertilizer.

Quality

Lab Testing & Jeevani Packaging

Final products are tested, graded, and packaged under the Jeevani brand — ready for direct distribution to farmers, FPOs, and agri-retailers across India.
